Terms and Conditions
Please review the terms and conditions of ticket application before filling in and posting your application form. Receipt of a ticket application form will be understood as your agreement to comply with these conditions.
- Ticket applicant must be a current or former Member of Emmanuel College, current Member of the University of Cambridge or a current member of staff at the University of Cambridge.
- Bona fide guests of the ticket applicant may be from outside Emmanuel College or the University of Cambridge at the discretion of The Emmanuel College June Event 2012 Committee (hereafter referred to as ‘The Committee’). The ticket applicant, however, is responsible for the conduct of their "outside" guests.
- Successful ticket applicants will be asked to show valid photographic ID on collection of their tickets.
- No persons under the age of 18 may purchase or be present at The Emmanuel College June Event 2012 (hereafter referred to as ‘The Event’). Any guests found to be under the age of 18 will be refused entry, or if found within The Event, evicted.
- The Committee reserve the right to alter the programme of events without notice and ticket holders may have no cause for complaint in such a case.
- Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and members of Emmanuel College will receive priority until Saturday 11th February 2012.
- The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to The Event or to evict guests where they are deemed to pose a risk to the safety of other guests or to the fabric of The Event, for example due to intoxication.
- Antisocial behaviour may also lead to refused entry to or eviction from The Event.
- Guests believed to be committing illegal activities, including aiding "gate crashers" to trespass at The Event, will be evicted from the premises and may be reported to the Police.
- The Event has a strict no drugs policy and any persons found in possession of illegal substances during The Event will be evicted from the premises and may be reported to the Police.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Guests will comply with the instructions of The Committee and / or persons employed by The Event. This is to ensure the safety of all persons present.
- Under no circumstances shall The Event be responsible for any injurious act or default committed by themselves, their employees, sub-contractors or any independent contractor causing death or personal injury unless such act or default could have been foreseen and avoided by the exercise of due care and diligence on the part of The Committee.
- The Committee shall not be liable in the event of cancellation or curtailment of The Event due to any Act of God, national or local emergency, acts or omissions of Government, local or competent authority, the police, industrial disputes of any kind, fire, or severely adverse or inclement weather conditions such as to make the holding of The Event impossible, a danger to attendees, prohibitively expensive or otherwise impossible to operate or continue with.
- The Committee reserves the right to cancel The Event at its discretion. In this event, the cost of tickets will be refunded to successful applicants.
- All data collected is subject to the Data Protection Act 1998. Data will be used to process the application and may be passed to select third parties. If you DO NOT wish to be contacted by third parties please inform The Committee at president@emmajuneevent.com within 24 hours of your application.
- All decisions of The Committee are final.
